US Atty Gen'l May Pull Back from Investigating Alleged Police Abuse

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions says he's worried a recent increase in serious crimes may signal a violent new period ahead for the United States. 

In his first major speech as the country's top law enforcement officer, Sessions also said the Department of Justice is likely to pull back from investigations of alleged police abuse.
