UK OPENS NEW CYBER SECURITY HUB

The UK is officially opening a new centre to protect the country against cyber attacks with the target of making Britain the 'hardest target'.

The National Cyber Security Centre is based in London and will protect against and respond to high-scale attacks on businesses and government targets.

But it's also designed to protect wider society and the British economy.

The NCSC claims the UK sees about 60 serious cyber-attacks each month.

Opposition Labour MP Meg Hillier says the verdict is out.

IN: "The government…
OUT: …to prove."
