President Trump's supreme court nominee has told a US Senator he found Donald Trump's attacks on the judiciary "demoralizing" and "disheartening."
Judge Neil Gorsuch was meeting Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal with the hope of gaining support for his supreme court confirmation when he made the remark.
