White House says acting AG fired for cause
The White House is not backing down on its claim Sally Yates betrayed her position as acting U.S. Attorney General when she announced she would not enforce the executive order on travel visas and immigration.
Dana Boente has promised to uphold the executive order, while he is acting U.S. Attorney General, until Jeff Sessions is confirmed.
White House spokesman Sean Spicer insists Sally Yates failed to do her job.
