US confirms airstrikes on Islamic State in Libya

The U.S. military is confirming it carried out a series of airstrikes against Islamic State training camps in Libya, southwest of Sirte.

The Obama administration says it is committed to keeping the pressure on the Islamic State, and Donald Trump has vowed to defeat the group.
