Ex-VW boss denies prior knowledge of emissions cheating

Volkswagen's former CEO Martin Winterkorn [VINTERKORN] has denied being that he was aware of his company's program to cheat emissions tests in its diesel engines.

The denial came before a German parliamentary committee, and were his first public comments since he apologized for the scandal in late twenty fifteen.
