UK TOURISTS EVACUATED FROM THE GAMBIA

Thousands of British holidaymakers are being flown home from The Gambia after a state of emergency was declared in the country.

President Yahya Jammeh is holding onto power as his mandate ends, following disputed elections which he lost in December.
