The UK Supreme Court has ruled Parliament must be consulted over the triggering of Article 50 which starts formal brexit negotiations.
The UK government had argued Prime Minister Theresa May had the power to start the process without putting it to Parliament.
She will now have to face a vote to hit article 50 - which she's said she wants to do by the end of March.
