Trump fires Acting Attorney General, accuses her of betrayal

US President Donald Trump has fired the Acting Attorney General of the United States, accusing her of betrayal after she instructed Justice Department attorneys to stop defending the President's immigration ban in the courts.

The President's intervention came just hours after Sally Yates said she was not convinced Mr. Trump's executive order, closing the country's borders to people from 7 countries, was legal.
