U.S. President Donald Trump is claiming he's forced some $600 million in cost savings for the F35 joint strike fighter programme.
The fighter jet has been criticized for trying to be too many things for too many different forces, and failing to fulfill key needs, while costing too much.
President Trump says fixing the programme was important to him.
