CHINA TO BAN DOMESTIC IVORY TRADE BY END OF 2017

China will ban its domestic ivory trade by the end of the year, closing the world's biggest market for poached elephant tusks. Conservation groups around the world have praised the decision, especially in Africa, where 20,000 elephants are killed every year. Lucy Taylor reports.
