British MPs have started a two-day heated debate on Brexit legislation, ahead of a vote due on Wednesday.
The government was forced to table a Brexit Bill by the UK's Supreme Court.
If it wins approval Prime Minister Theresa May hopes to be able to trigger Article 50, which begins formal negotiations on the UK's exit from the EU, by the end of March.
The bill is expected to pass because MPs from the opposition Labour Party are being ordered to back it.
Brexit Secretary David Davis told the House of Commons the will of the people is clear.
