British retailer Next, which has stores across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, is warning it's customers face price rises of up to 5 per cent in the coming year due to rising costs .
The multinational warned of a "challenging" year ahead and said this could affect its profits by as much as 14 per cent. It came as Next reported a disappointing Christmas trading period as Catherine Drew reports from London.
