Cabinet files from the UK government dating back to the 80s and 90s have been released, revealing orders had been given to shoot intruders who breeched UK nuclear submarines.
The files, which were marked secret, discuss an incident where three anti-nuclear demonstrators managed to break into a nuclear submarine at Faslane in the Clyde.
