ECJ ruling may complicate post-Brexit trade deal

The European Court of Justice has ruled that an EU free trade deal with Singapore must be agreed by all member states, a decision which has implications for the UK as it prepares for Brexit negotiations. 

It means a trade deal hammered out as Britain leaves the European Union must be agreed by at least 27 national and 11 regional parliaments.   From London, Catherine Drew reports.
