Austria's far-right presidential candidate concedes defeat

The far-right candidate in Austria's presidential election has conceded defeat to the former leader of the country's green party.

Norbert Hofer, who was campaigning the election on an anti-immigration ticket, would have become the first far-right head of state in the European Union since the second world war.
