35 Russian intelligence operatives given 72 hours to leave the U.S.

U.S. President Barack Obama has issued an executive order to expel 35 Russian intelligence operatives from the U.S., three weeks before he leaves office.

Administration officials say the package of measures, which include sanctions on Russia's top intelligence services, are in direct response to Russian threats to U.S. national security.
