U.S. presidential race under scrutiny from election monitors

The U.S. Justice Department has deployed more than 500 election monitors to polling stations in 28 states- five more than in 2012.

Boosted numbers of international observers are also monitoring the U.S. presidential election- putting American democracy under closer scrutiny than ever before.
