US-backed Iraqi forces enter ISIS stronghold for first time in 2 years

US-backed Iraqi forces have entered the ISIS-held town of Mosul for the first time in over two years.  

According to Iraq Defense Ministry the Troops penetrated the eastern border of the city on Thursday.
