UK High Court: Parliament Alone Can Trigger Brexit


A legal challenge to whether the British Government can begin the process of leaving the European Union without consulting Parliament has been upheld by the UK's High Court.


It found that a parliamentary vote would be needed before Brussels could be notified of Britain's intentions to leave the EU.


However, as our UK correspondent Natalie Powell reports, the government will appeal this decision ….
