Putin praised late Cuban leader as “sincere and reliable friend of Russia”

Moscow expressed condolences to the people of Cuba over the death of Fidel Castro. The Russian President described the late Cuban leader as "a symbol of an era", a 'distinguished statesman', and a "sincere and reliable friend of Russia". Cuba, along with Venezuela, was one of Moscow's key geopolitical allies in Latin America. Our correspondent Daria Bondarchuk reports from the Russian capital.
