Obama and Trump call for unity on Thanksgiving

US President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump have urged Americans to come together on Thanksgiving after a brutal election season.

In their Thanksgiving addresses, both men struck an optimistic tone at a time of deep divisions in America.
