French government riven by infighting over upcoming election

The French Socialist party is scrambling to hold its government together after prime minister Manuel Valls said he could run against Francois Hollande for the presidential nomination.
The French left is in disarray as the centre right unites around candidate Francois Fillon  - chosen in an open primary this weekend.
