UN Human Rights Watchdog Calls on Saudi Arabia To End ‘Severe’ Discrimination

A UN Human Rights watchdog has called on Saudi Arabia to end what it calls 'severe discrimination' against girls, and to repeal laws it says allows children to be executed.

It comes as the Committee on the Rights of the Child has reported the conclusions of its review of the kingdom's children's rights record.

Lorna Shaddick reports from UN Headquarters in New York.
