UN estimate half of eastern Aleppo’s population want to leave

The United Nations estimate that half the population living in the
eastern part of the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo want to leave.

The city has been heavily bombarded since a cessation of hostilities
collapsed in September and the UN warn that supplies are running low.
