UKIP's new leader resigns 18 days into job

The leader of the UK Independence Party which successfully campaigned for Britain to leave the European Union has resigned just 18 days into the job.

Diane James, who succeeded Nigel Farage,  is standing down saying she does not have the full support of the party to make the changes she wants.
