UK Chancellor moves away from deficit targets following Brexit

The new British Chancellor Philip Hammond is moving away from his predecessor's policies of balancing the books by 2020, in the wake of the Brexit vote.


Instead the chancellor aims to spend more on housing and transport to support growth in the UK
