Philippines leader announces “separation” from the US

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has announced he has realigned
his country with China and separated from the United States.

The comments were made during a visit to China and in a week when a
dozen anti-American protestors were injured outside the US embassy in
the Philippines.
