Peace talks stall between ELN and Colombian gov

Colombia's National Liberation Army or ELN, the country's second largest rebel group, has accused the government of "torpedoing" upcoming peace talks.

Negotiations between the government and the ELN are due to begin this week, but government officials are demanding the rebels release a hostage before the meetings begin.
