The Iraqi Prime Minister has said the offensive to seize back Mosul from the so-called Islamic State group is going faster than planned - as Iraqi and Kurdish forces, backed by an international coalition, continue to take ground on the city's outskirts.
But it comes as the US military led coalition announced that a service member has died after an IED attack in northern Iraq.
