US corruption watchdog criticizes Afghanistan

A corruption watchdog in the United States has described Afghanistan's
anti-corruption body as ineffective.

The group Transparency International has ranked Afghanistan as one of
the world's most corrupt nations and US officials say it's hurting the
fight against the Taliban.
