United Nations urges Syria to permit humanitarian aid delivery

The United Nations says humanitarian aid to Syria has been on hold
despite promises from the
Syrian government to permit deliveries during a week-long ceasefire.

The UN has yet to receive the necessary authorization from Syria to
move aid into the country.
