UN Suspends All Aid Convoys in Syria

The United Nations has suspended aid convoys in Syria, the day after an air strike hit some of its trucks near the rebel-held city of Aleppo.

At least one aid worker and around 20 civilians were killed in the attack, and delivery of more relief will be stopped while the UN assesses the security situation.

Our correspondent at UN headquarters in New York, Lorna Shaddick, reports that UN boss Ban Ki Moon has used strong language to condemn the bombing.
