President Barack Obama to propose increase in number of refugees admitted to US

INTRO:
U.S. President Barack Obama intends to raise the number of refugees
admitted to the United States to 110,000 in the year 2017.

The proposed number of refugees to be admitted by the US will have
increased by 70% within the past two years.
