Irish parliament votes to back government's legal challenge against EU tax ruling on Apple

The Irish parliament has voted overwhelmingly to appeal a European Union ruling against Ireland's tax dealings with US tech giant Apple.

The European Commission believes Ireland provided Apple with a sweetheart tax and wants Dublin to call in over 14 billion dollars from the company.
