Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says he's "deeply disappointed" at the loss of one of the company's communications satellites.
The AMOS-6 satellite was destroyed when a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket set to carry it into orbit exploded during a test firing in Florida.
The cause of the blast is unknown but happened while the rocket was being fueled. No one was injured.
Correspondent Steve Mort in Florida says the lost payload is estimated to be worth about 200 million dollars.
