EMMA WALMSLEY BECOMES FIRST FEMALE CEO OF GSK

UK drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline has appointed Emma Walmsley as its new chief executive.

She's the pharmaceutical giant's first female boss, and one of only a handful of female chief executives among the UK's biggest firms.
