DOJ in talks with Japan's Takata over 'deadly airbags'

Japanese company Takata is in talks with the U.S. Department of Justice over  allegations of criminal wrongdoing related to its faulty air bags, according to reports

The Wall Street Journal says the DOJ is weighing up possible charges and a financial penalty as it waits for the auto-parts maker to offer its own proposal on how the case can be resolved.
