British MP steps down over male sex worker allegations

British MP Keith Vaz, a former Minster for Europe,  has stepped down from his role as chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, over allegations that he paid for two male sex workers.

The MP said in a statement that the Select Committee's integrity mattered and those who hold others to account must themselves be accountable.
