Brexit talks may not start for another year

Former European Council president Herman van Rompuy has said he doesn't believe substantive talks on Brexit will start for at least a year - as EU leaders gather in Bratislava for their first summit without Britain.
British prime minister Theresa May has said she won't announce Britain's official intention to leave the bloc until the beginning of the next year at the earliest.
