US State Department: Classifies Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Mohamed Abrini 'Specially Designated Terrorists"

The US State department has classified a Taliban splinter group and an
alleged IS member as Specially Designated Terrorists. It's an
Executive Order that imposes sanctions on foreign persons and groups
determined to have committed, or pose a significant risk of
committing, acts of terrorism that threaten the US.
