UN urges world to avert "humanitarian crisis" in South Sudan

The UN's Humanitarian chief has demanded the world pay attention to
what he's called the "enormous and complex humanitarian crisis" in
South Sudan.

Stephen O'Brien has just returned from the country where he met the
President Salva Kiir to urge him to better protect his people amid the
ongoing violence.

It comes after several months of renewed fighting during which
hundreds of people have died and thousands have fled their homes.
