UK NAMES ABUSE INQUIRY REPLACEMENT FOR NZ JUDGE

Britain has named a former social worker to head up its child sex abuse inquiry, after the previous chair, Dame Lowell Goddard resigned last week.

Professor Alexis Jay will be the new chairwoman of the inquiry, and was already on its advisory panel.
