TOP UK BOSSES 'PAID 144 TIMES AVERAGE WORKER'

The bosses of Britain's biggest companies are now paid 144 times the wages of the average worker, according to a new report.

The High Pay Centre says chief executives of companies listed on the FTSE 100 index are no paid on average £4m ($5.25m).

That represents a 10% jump for the year 2015.

Laith Khalaf of stockbrokers Hargreaves Lansdown says it's a controversial issue.
