NZ judge resigns from sex abuse inquiry post

Dame Lowell Goddard, the New Zealand judge who was appointed to lead Britain's independent inquiry into historic sex abuse claims has resigned from the post.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd said a new chair would be appointed and that the work of the inquiry would continue without delay.   It's not yet clear why Goddard has resigned.  From London Catherine Drew reports.
