Richard Branson's space tourism venture Virgin Galactic made a giant
leap in the race to get tourists to space. It was awarded an operating
license from the Federal Aviation Administration for its SpaceShipTwo
aircraft Monday, giving the company government clearance to fly when
they feel it is safe to do so.
