Austrian leader: Turkey-EU talks ‘diplomatic fiction’

Austria's chancellor dismissed talks over Turkish membership in the European Union as 'diplomatic fiction, and said Europe should consider breaking off those talks.

European leaders have voiced concern about Turkey's crackdown in the wake of last month's failed coup attempt.
