UK LABOUR IN DISARRAY

The deputy leader of the UK's Labour Party says he is trying to hold emergency talks with unions over the future of leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Tom Watson has asked Jeremy Corbyn to stand aside over concerns about his leadership among his own MPs.

However, Mr Corbyn was elected with a huge majority by the party's membership.

Political reporter Theo Usherwood says Tom Watson's targeting of the unions is a sensible strategy.
