UK economy grew 0.6% in lead-up to Brexit

The UK economy grew 0.6% during the second quarter of 2016, according to official figures.

Estimates from the Office for National Statistics show growth in gross domestic product was stronger than expected during the three month period which spanned the build-up to Britain's EU Referendum and its subsequent vote for a Brexit.
