The International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) banned the majority of Russian track and field athletes from the Summer Olympic Games in Rio. One of the few allowed to compete, long jumper Darya Klishina, faced a storm of criticism back home after thanking the IAAF for the positive decision on her case.
